I've always been a fan and it makes me sad that you won't be able to give us a brief escape from the insanity that is life anymore. Rest In Peace.
Looked stunning.......
And the humor would have been great if it weren't for the stale voice-acting. But I will give it to you for having all of the characters voiced by the people they were based on. You should keep it up and maybe next time get your voice-actors a little pepped up before a recording session.
All hype, no delivery.....
That has nothing to do with Jesus other than the use of his name for your graphics. I must say the graphics and sound where impressive. But it doesn't hide the fact that there was no substance. You should use your skills to create a longer "tribute" and try to compress your file-size, it's terrible. I'm not a religious person at all, but if you can make a real tribute with visuals like that, I'll watch it. Good Luck
Like I’ve stated soooo many other times on the other reviews…..."This was used on my Portfolio when I graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta. It’s basically another broadcast advertisement for a musical. (more like a teaser to one)" Usually, teaser's do not have much of a point, (which is probably what you would call substance), but to make the viewers want to see more of what it's about. I hope you understand that this is what this was supposed to be. I just made this a tribute to J.C. because it was in reference to Him not about Him.
As far as the length is concerned, a teaser isn’t supposed to be long at all. But, I do apologize for the file size because it is extremely large for such a short animation. This is due to the fact of it being transferred from an After Effects animation to Flash, since NG only excepts .swf files. And since this was originally done in After Effects for my portfolio class in college, (which, by the way, was restricted to a time constraint of no longer than 1 minute), it would have been impossible to get the exact graphics and effects if it were all done in Flash. So, I just transferred it into Flash.
Well, whether you say you are religious or not, every single person that is living and breathing on this earth has a religion. Because if you look up the word religion, it states..."any system of beliefs, practices, ethical values, etc..." Even atheists have a religion because they have to have some substantial way to believe in "something" of practice such as doing something as simple as a daily routine. Everyone has some way, shape, or form of religion. Most people just reference religion as being only something a Christian, Jew, Buddhist, Muslim, etc. would have.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review this piece!
Hee hee hee
I guess I'm one of the people who reviewed your movie that understands ITS A JOKE! It's funny as hell and I liked how you threw Toms name in there as well as your own.
Long live Tricky!
Now thats what I call a plot twist! Great job with sound/graphics as always. Keep up the good work!
Bollocks.
